Emberal ("Emberal," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard information when you download, access, or use the Emberal mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the App and delete it.

Emberal is a non-medical, educational, wellness, and self-help application designed to assist users with personal habit tracking, daily rituals, motivation, consistency, life score reflection, momentum tracking, recovery awareness, and burnout-risk awareness.


The App is **not** a healthcare service, medical device, therapy platform, counseling service, diagnosis tool, emergency service, or treatment program.

Emberal does **not** provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, counseling, or clinical recommendations.

Emberal does **not** create, receive, maintain, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).


**No doctor-patient, therapist-client, coach-client, or healthcare provider relationship** is created through the App.

Information entered by users may include personal or sensitive behavioral information, including habits, mood check-ins, journal entries, routines, sleep-related information, focus activity, hydration, workout activity, goals, and self-reflections. Such information is voluntarily entered by users for personal habit tracking and self-reflection purposes within the App.

Users seeking professional assistance related to physical health, mental health, burnout, stress, sleep issues, addiction, emotional distress, or any medical concern should consult a qualified healthcare professional.

The App is intended to provide informational tools and personal habit-tracking features to support user-directed behavior change, daily consistency, self-reflection, and personal wellness routines.


Emberal does not monitor user activity outside the App and does not guarantee any specific outcomes related to behavioral change, habit formation, productivity, discipline, recovery, stress reduction, burnout prevention, mental health, or overall wellbeing.


Users remain solely responsible for their personal decisions, actions, and behaviors. The App should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, coaching, financial, legal, or counseling services.


Life Score, burnout-risk indicators, recovery scores, momentum scores, discipline scores, streaks, auras, levels, insights, and milestones presented in the App are informational and motivational features. They are based on user-entered activity, app interactions, and general behavioral patterns, and may not reflect any medically validated condition, risk, diagnosis, or individual outcome.

We collect only the data necessary, or voluntarily provided, to deliver App functionality, personalization, insights, subscriptions, and improvements.


**Information you provide:** Account details such as email, name, Apple ID, Google ID, or other login information; profile preferences such as goals, coaching preferences, preferred routines, and onboarding responses; habit and ritual tracking data such as sleep logs, focus sessions, workouts, hydration, mood check-ins, morning routines, night routines, meditation, journaling, reading, custom rituals, notes, streaks, scores, progress, and app settings; and payment or subscription information processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment providers where applicable.


**Automatically collected:** Device model, operating system version, app version, device identifiers, IP address, crash reports, diagnostics, performance data, and usage analytics such as features used, session duration, navigation patterns, and interaction events.

**Permissions:** Push notifications only, unless additional permissions are clearly requested in the App. Emberal does **not** access contacts, microphone, camera, or precise geolocation unless you separately grant permission for a specific feature.


**Community content:** If community, sharing, leaderboard, friend, or social features are made available, posts, comments, display names, shared progress, or other content you choose to share may be visible to other participants.


**AI coach and insights:** Conversation messages, onboarding context, goals, ritual history, streaks, scores, check-ins, notes, and related context may be sent to our server and processed by third-party AI providers to generate coaching-style responses, reflections, summaries, and insights. Messages are **not** intended to be used to train AI models unless we clearly state otherwise or obtain required consent.

Information related to personal habits, routines, mood, stress, burnout feelings, sleep, recovery, emotional states, productivity, discipline, goals, self-reflection, or behavioral patterns may be considered sensitive data in some jurisdictions. This information is processed only to provide habit tracking, progress metrics, Life Score calculations, insights, and AI coaching-style features. It is **never** sold, used for advertising profiling, or shared with data brokers. Users may delete entries or their account at any time, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

Users may enter, edit, or delete their information at any time where the App provides those controls. We use information to provide App functionality, maintain accounts, personalize onboarding, save rituals and streaks, generate Life Score and score breakdowns, provide momentum, discipline, burnout-risk, and recovery insights, power AI coaching-style features, improve performance, communicate updates, send requested notifications, process subscriptions, detect fraud, enforce Terms of Service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

Data may be stored or processed in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where personal information is transferred outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

The App uses automated systems for Life Score calculations, progress insights, streaks, habit pattern analysis, burnout-risk indicators, recovery indicators, momentum scoring, discipline scoring, personalized reflections, and AI coaching-style features. These do **not** constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic, clinical, or professional evaluation. Users control their data and may delete it at any time where the App provides deletion controls.

Emberal is intended for users at least 12 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from minors and may suspend or delete accounts that do not meet age requirements.

Deletion removes or anonymizes account information, profile data, ritual logs, check-ins, notes, journal entries, custom rituals, scores, streak data, and other associated personal data, except where retention is legally required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance.

We may update this policy and will communicate material changes through the App, email, or an updated posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
